binghi

aboriginal: Most of the stockmen are binghis.
Contributor's comments: Used in Broome (in the 40s and 50s)

Contributor's comments: Interestingly enough, the term Binghi is common in Jamaican patois. Rastafarians use it to describe "good bloke, good man". The lyrics of Everton Blender, Binghi Man Come are worth checking out at http://www.jamaicalyrics.com and Everton should certainly be singing this one being bottom of the league this year after almost top last year.
