Editor's comments: Does anyone know the origin of this word?

Contributor's comments: I first heard this term in the Army in the mid-late 1960's, usually referring to a "rollie" or roll your own (as opposed to "tailor made"). Possibly refers to the American brand of tobacco "Bull Durham".
