Macquarie Dictionary new words - extra - being ridiculously, unashamedly over the top.

Macquarie Dictionary new words - Polaris attack - when a shark launches itself or its prey vertically out of the water.

Macquarie Dictionary new words - manterruption -when a man interrupts a woman because they think they have a better point of view or want to discredit the woman.

Macquarie Dictionary new words - villain edit - when someone on a reality TV show is edited to look more villainous than they allege they were acting.

Macquarie Dictionary new words - bystander effect - the phenomenon in which the greater the number of people present, the less likely people are to help a person in distress.

snoresome - TV show / movie / conversation etc of such poor quality that it induces sleep
