Here at the Macquarie Dictionary, we put our heads together and came up with a few overlooked sports that we think would be perfect in the next games. Are any of you secret champions at these sports? breakdancing A STYLE OF ACROBATIC DANCING PERFORMED USUALLY ON THE STREETS TO RAP MUSIC, AND INVOLVING SPECTACULAR MOVEMENTS SUCH AS SPINNING THE BODY ON THE GROUND OR FLOOR.

marco polo A GAME OF TAG PLAYED IN A SWIMMING POOL, THE PERSON CHASING BEING OBLIGED TO KEEP THEIR EYES SHUT.​

bumble puppy 1.  A BAT WITH BALL ATTACHED, USUALLY BY ELASTIC SO THAT WHEN THE BALL IS HIT, IT RETURNS TO THE BAT. 2.  A GAME IN WHICH A BALL ATTACHED BY ELASTIC TO A POLE IS HIT FROM EITHER SIDE OF THE POLE BY TWO PLAYERS SO THAT THE BALL WINDS UP OR DOWN THE POLE; TETHER TENNIS.

LARPing (LIVE ACTION ROLE PLAYING) A FORM OF GAME IN WHICH PARTICIPANTS CAN, WITHIN THE PARAMETERS OF THE GAME, CREATE THEIR OWN ROLES AND IMPROVISE THE ACTIONS.

air hockey AN ARCADE GAME PLAYED WITH A PUCK FLOATING ON JETS OF AIR PROPELLED FROM THE TABLE'S SURFACE.

roller derby A RACE ON ROLLERSKATES BETWEEN TWO TEAMS, EACH OF WHICH HAS ONE SKATER WHO ATTEMPTS TO BREAK THROUGH TO THE FINISH LINE WHILE THE REST IMPEDE THE OPPOSING TEAM, USUALLY BY MEANS OF LEGITIMATE BODY CONTACT.

chess boxing A SPORT WHICH ALTERNATES A ROUND OF BOXING WITH A ROUND OF CHESS.

quidditch A GAME PLAYED BY TWO TEAMS OF SEVEN PLAYERS, EACH CARRYING A BROOM BETWEEN THEIR LEGS, THE AIM BEING TO SCORE GOALS BY PUTTING A BALL THROUGH ANY OF THREE VERTICAL HOOPS WHICH STAND, AT VARYING HEIGHTS, AT EACH END OF THE FIELD; VARIOUS FORMS OF DEFLECTION AND INTERFERENCE ARE EMPLOYED TO IMPEDE THE OPPOSITION, AND BONUS POINTS ARE AWARDED FOR GAINING POSSESSION OF A PARTICULAR OBJECT ATTACHED TO A PLAYER WHO IS NOT A MEMBER OF EITHER TEAM.
